Shari Criso is the creator and owner of The Birth Boutique, which was established in 2001.  Supporting, educating and empowering women through pregnancy and new motherhood has been her passion and focus since she stared her career back in 1990. After graduating from Temple University's school of Nursing she spent 6 years in St.Clares Labor and Delivery department caring for thousands of mothers and infants.  Later in 1996, she returned to school (University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ) to obtain a Masters Degree in Nursing and her Midwifery Certification.  She established her own medical practice, With Woman of Morris, and for the next seven years worked in private practice as a Certified Nurse Midwife.  She provided full obstetrical and gynecological care to her patients and delivered over 600 babies!  After the birth of her first daughter Jade, she had a vision to open a specialty store where new and expecting parents could go to find all the products, services, and expert advice they needed all under one roof.  The Birth Boutique was born!  A year and a half later while pregnant with her second daughter Talia, the store was moved into a much larger location on Diamond Spring Road and has been steadily growing ever since.  Her latest expansion is the creation of the parenting center, adjacent to the store, which offers parents the most innovative and high quality pregnancy and parenting classes available.
